Agglomeration Machines
Function
Agglomeration machines are used to physically transform loose material into chips suitable for feeding the hopper of an extruder.
Agglomerator Design
- Cylinder with Blades: The agglomerator consists of a cylinder with four rotating blades and eight fixed blades at the bottom, creating friction and heat during the process. This heat causes the material to reach its softening point.
Material Transformation Process
- Water Shock: During the agglomeration process, water is added to create a shock. After water evaporation, the material is discharged through a pneumatic-operated door in the form of chips.
Versatile Use
- Material Drying: Agglomerators can also function as material dryers, converting thin-walled waste materials, such as bag clippings, into reusable material.
